I have had it! Here it is, Mitch McConnell DOES NOT CARE ABOUT KENTUCKY!!! He ONLY CARES ABOUT HIS SPECIAL INTERESTS. When our backs are turned, he caters to those special interests. And, we don't even know it. Even if we are doing the research, we would not know it by the record.
MITCH MCCONNELL WOULD NEVER VOTE FOR THE EARMARK MORATORIAM IF HE WERE NOT RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION!
Here is how the scheme works:
McConnell currently serves as a senior member of the Appropriations, Agriculture and Rules Committees.
He is the direct contact for many Special Interest Groups which DEMAND OUR FREEDOM! and their PORK PROJECTS!!!
During the session of the Committee, they consider many bills, legitimately, for funding.
They then add the EARMARKS for STEALTH LEGISLATION.
They then tout the ORIGINAL BILL and the merits of it while KEEPING SECRET THE EARMARKS
THE BORDER FENCE WAS DEFUNDED IN THE OMNIBUS BUDGET FOR 2008 THROUGH AN EARMARK
Here is the Border Fence Issue History:
2005 Mitch McConnell voted yes on the Border Fence. Legislation considered pro-security.
2007 Mitch McConnell voted yes on the 2008 Omnibus Budget. Legislation considered pro-government
Earmark containing the Defunding of the Border Fence is amended to the 2008 Omnibus Budget
If ELECTED, I will make this UNCONSTITUTIONAL PRACTICE ILLEGAL!!!
I WILL NOT REST UNTIL THIS IS DONE!!!!
THE USE OF EARMARKS HAVE PUT THE UNION IN DANGER!
